Strokes
Hi do I topspin a short low ball?
Hi Morgan,
If the ball is low and short it is best to use the push stroke. Take a look at our lessons on the Backhand Push and the Forehand Push.
The strawberry flick is the opposite of the banana flick and involves utilising the wrist to get the ball spinning with topspin and sidespin. Used in conjunction with the banana flick it can be very deceptive. The banana flick is a more reliable stroke and that's why you see more top players using it over the strawberry flick.

Hi coaches and what about situation when its low ball which is no very fast and deep on my side? I think its right time to attack, cause im very offensive player, but ball is too low and I often ends it on the net or out of the table....what is important in this situation and for this kind of topspin??
Hi Marian,
If it is deep enough then you can use the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin or Backhand Topspin Off Backspin.
