how to hit a topspin against a chop
Hi Shubham,
YOu are in luck becaue we have a lesson designed just for that.
Take a look at the lesson on the Forehand Loop Off Backspin. This will show you the stroke that you need to play. You need to have a good brushing contact on the ball to counter the backspin. You also have a bit more time when playing against a chop ball so you can follow through a bit more.
When your opponent plays a short ball to your forehand, you can play an attacking stroke by using the flick. This stroke is also known as the flip.

Hi Alois,
The video is excellent. I would like to know when to transfer weight from right foot to left foot (for right-handed player) while hitting a forehand loop? Should the weight transfer occurs at the start position, at the time of brushing the ball or at the finish position of the stroke?
Hi Albert,
You can keep your balance throughout the stroke or if you do want to transfer your weight then the weight should be right in the middle when your bat contacts the ball. So transfer your weight through your stroke.
