Hi Jeff & Alois

I want to ask why the wrist is not used when playing forehand tospin against block.  Secondly is wrist used when playing backhand topspin against backhand block.

Hi Rahul,

It is easier to use the wrist with the backhand because of the movement of the wrist.  To use the wrist more with the forehand you would need to have an extreme forehand grip.

You can use your wrist a little for the forehand but it is more in a sideways motion than up and down.
