Sir,im prasanth ,during practise whenever i try to topspin i missed the ball ,racket not even touched the ball,what to do for that sir?...pls answer me sir

Hi Prasanth,

 
A lot of players do this when they start to play a topspin.  The trick here is to make sure you push your bat more forward during the stroke.  So the initial movement is forward rather than up to get a good contact on the ball.

 thank you very much sir. I cant understand the answer u had given to me..why should i move racket forward rather than contact the ball..???

I think Alois meant to move the bat forward to contact the ball. If you are moving the bat from low to high then there is only a small amount of time when the bat is level with the ball so it's easy to miss it. If you keep the bat quite level with the ball but only move it forward you have a good chance of hitting it.
