Hi, Alois and Jeff. I have a question about how to do a topspin stroke if I am standing in my backhand side (left corner of table) and the ball falls far to my forehand side (right corner of table)?

Thanks.

Hi Elvin,

If you can reach it with the sidestep footwork then that is the best option.  However if the ball is really wide you may have to use the crossover footwork.  This is a running step that we show in our Master Class on Moving Out Wide.
