Serving
Hi Alois! Hi Jeff!
When I am serving short, I try to put straight sidespin and my opponent tries to flick it. However, instead of going off the table, the ball falls into my backhand or forehand corner and it becomes difficult for me to return it. I try to put some backspin on the short serve and he pushes it. There my problem is that the ball is too low and it looks very difficult to put your bat under the ball to push it. So it falls into the net. When I serve no spin short serve, he flicks it without any problem. Finally I try to serve very long but he topspins them no matter what spin the ball has. Should I play short pendulum topspin serve, and if I need tell me or show me.

Hi Atanas,
It just sounds like you are playing a good player that can handle your spin.
If you can do all the serves you should try to use variation of serves to make it difficult for your opponent. Serving the one serve will not be effective against anyone even if the serve is fantastic because if you are doing the same serve your opponent will be able to adjust to it.
Try to make your serves as similar as possible in their action to make it more deceptive.
The kicker serve is one of our "must learn" serves. It's fast, fun, and has lots of topspin. It can be dangerous because if it's not fast enough and if you don't surprise your opponent then they may be able to attack it forcefully putting you on the defensive straight away. Used well though, and sparingly, it can be a great weapon. It can win you a point outright and it will stop your opponent from standing over the table waiting for your short serves since they need to be ready for anything.
