hello. I have the Dawei Kama blade and both sides ,  I have the dawei Super power 2008 rubbers.......I frequently frequently using those for more than 3 years......do I need to change it ? The rubber has been chipped of quite at the sides and the wood has become dirty..........but the performance is still okay.......when do I need to change it ? Thanks

Hi Yiejian,

The most important thing is the rubber.  If the rubber still has grip then it may still be OK for you.

Rub your finger across the rubber and see if it still feels like it has grip.

After 3 years it is likely that it has lost some grip so it may be time to change.

generally if u play about twice a week 2 hours a time you should change rubbers at least once a year. the rubbers may feel ok as u r used to them, but u will be surprised how much more spin and control u get when u change them. i would just do it.

I play since 3 months-3 times a week, 2 hours and a half and my both rubbers still have a very good grip.
