Hi Alois and Co.,

When I play with my friends I try to do the spin serve, only that sometimes it varies and I am hiting it the same way. Sometimes it returns back to the net, sometimes its spins to le left, and to the right. And sometimes it just becomes a normal serve. Can you help me with my problem?

Thanks!

Hi Gonzalo,

This is because the contact requires is a very fine contact.  That means it will take a lot of practice to get it right all the time.  The best players in the world still practice their serving regularly because it is such a difficult skill to master and maintain.

Try to spends some more of your practice time on serving.  It may take a while, but it will get better.
