Hi Alois and Jeff

When I get a wide ball (no matter forehand or backhand) I reach it but I cant get a single moment to look back at the table and return the ball even wider than it was. Actually, after my return the ball flies somewhere between me and the net. How can I deal with this?

Hi Roman,

It sounds like it is  matter of making the movement faster. You probably need to use the crossover footwork if it is really wide. Then when you get there try to have a moment when you stabilise yourself and place the ball well.

I have been trying to concentrate during the game more and it helped me to avoid such situations most of the time.
