William Henzell's Backhand

Strokes

Hi Guys,

William Henzell's backhand, as I've seen it seems a bit unique and different from the standard backhand topspin that I usually see. Is this just me, or is it really quite different? If so, what are your thoughts on this? Is it okay to have your own style or strokes in table tennis?

Also, are you guys friends with him and played with him? As I noticed he's also Australian. :)

Thanks Guys! I regularly try to watch and learn from your videos.

Hi Carlo,

His backhand really uses a lot of wrist.  He is a backhand dominant player and really works a lot on this stroke.  It is a stroke that suits his game.

We do know him well.  He has been on some teams that I have worked with.

Glad you like the videos.
