Hi Alois

I always have problem winning the match point, that means that when I am up 10-6, I would have a hard time winning the last point and always let the opponent catch up and win the match. Are there any match strategies planning to lose some points in order to win a point. That means that I can plan to lose 3 points in order to win 1 point, then I will win the match 11-9.

Hi Yap,

Many players have a difficult time finishing the last point.

Try to change the way you thing about a game.  If you focus on each point as it comes up then the match point will become just part of that process.  Even if you have a few more nerves on match point you will have a process to follow that you have been following for each previous point.

Think about a pre point routine that you can develop that you use for every point.  This will include thinking about the serve or return that you are going to focus on for that point as well as the general direction you are going to play in the rally.
