Hi Coach!

I've noticed in one of your videos that Coach Alois is using Xiom Vega Pro on his forehand (please correct me if I am wrong), so I thought it might be a good idea to ask about this particular rubber.

I am planning to buy a sheet of Xiom Vega Pro for my FH because I'm currently looking for a rubber that would help me do controlled spinny loops or topspins without compromising my service and touchplay shots. I am not necessarily looking for a rubber that is very fast, but I am looking for a rubber that would be more forgiving for me when I do brush loops and similar strokes, and would also give me good dwell time. Because of this, I would like to ask if Xiom Vega Pro would be a good rubber for this, especially when glued to an OFF/OFF- carbon blade like the Donic Ovthcharov True Carbon?

I was using Donic Baracuda on my FH but I found that the ball rebounded too quickly whenever I do FH loops, which compromised the amount of spin.

Hi Wayper,

I really liked the Vega Pro rubber when I was using it.  It gave me good spin on the forehand and also good dwell time and a high throw.

I would recommend it to players with an attacking game.

Whatever I get.  Rakza 7 sometimes... Trying a Cornilleau rubber at the moment.  Not that concerned about what I use.
