When a rubber is very tacky, does it have a lot of margin to lift a heavy back spin ball, without the need to pay much detail on the amount of brushing?

What does throw angle means?  A rubber with high throw angle can lift a heavy back spin ball better?

Thanks in advance...

Hi Lionel,

The tacky surface does help to lift the heavier ball.  You still need to brush the ball however.

The throw angle is the angle the ball comes off your rubber when spun.  Yes the rubbers with higher throw angle tend to make it easier to lift heavy backspin.
