Hi coach my question is their any other ways to hold a table tennis raket other than the shakehand and the penhold? The way i hold my raket is the shakehand mode But I just bought a raket and when I try to chop my finger always moves into a uncomfortable position. I hope you can help me with this bye! P.S. Thank you for all your videos they are very helpful.

Hi Diego,

Tjhe Penhold and the Shakehand are the two most popular grips.

Try holding your bat lighter in your hand. This will allow flexibility with your fingers and wrist.  Make sure the pointer finger stays in position. low on the bat.  This will give you good control over the racket.
