Butterfly A Mazunov Blade Review

Hi PingSkills

I wanted to ask this blade as they said that this is the best all-wood or non-carbon blade ever!

My coach also use this blade with slow tacky chinese rubber Dawei 388A-4 on forehand and butterfly sriver fx for control on backhand without any speed glue on it

I surprised because he use such a slow rubber but his spin is faster than my Xiom Vega Pro !

So i think it would be the blade

I ever use it for a while and I found it have a good feeling and control but fast for attacking. The only one problem is that it is super heavy! As I usually get used on light blade

He told me that if we get used to that heavy blade then you'll find no problem

What do you think about the blade compared to another fast carbon blade and what do you think about the balde compared to the pingskills touch? What type of player that suit with the blade and what is the best rubber for the combination?

Please give me a detail review as I really interested with this great blade!

Hi Frendy,

I am not a fan of the Mazunov because it is heavy and fast.  But everyone has their own preferences.

Alright then, what do you think about it compared to PingSkills Touch? Which one should I choose?

For me the Touch is much nicer because it is lighter and has better feel.

About the weight, if we can get used to the heavy one, is it better to use it? As they said that more mass means more power and you always said why you don't like the heavy one is because of the feeling of touch play. (But I've said that we have get used to it so there's no problem)

What do you think about it?

And about the better feel, what I know is heavier bat got better feel, just like the pingskills rook have better feel which is heavier than the touch

The heavy bat feels like I can’t stop it in time and play the next ball.

When we are talking about blades, how can I recognize if the blade is carbon, balsa or allwood?

Often it is not written in their description at any e-shop

Brother it also depend on the technique. I have better racket than my coach still he is able to get awesome amount of spin and control. He is experienced that's also matter.

Do you agree with my say Alois?

You are completely right Tushar.  Most of it is in the ability of the player.
