Strokes
Whenever i face a push from pips my attempt to chop the ball is unsuccessful and the ball flies off or the ball rises. Please help me sir, thanks in advance
Hi Pronit,
When they push the ball with the pimples it doesn't have as much spin as it would with inverted pimples. Therefor the ball will go up a little higher than it would off your bat. It is just a matter of adjusting your reaction to the push. Aim a little lower
Question actions
The forehand chop is a defensive stroke played away from the table. It is mainly used by defenders but can also be incorporated into an attackers game when forced away from the table.
