Equipment
respected sir
I'am an intermediate player practising table tennis for a period of 2 years and I had developed a offensive style of playing
recently I changed my equipment to the following :
ply - stiga allround classic
fh - sriver el
bh- yasaka mark v
I bewildered that if i keep yasaka mark v for bh my i may loose control due to it's excessive bounce
I'am concerened that whether i should change my bh for some other rubber like friendship 521 or gki euro xx
i would be thankful to you that if you help me solving this dilemma
with regards ,
ramaswamy sankar
Hi Ramaswamy,
I would persevere with the Mark V on the backhand. You will get used to it. Just work on developing your control with your backhand. The Mark V will be a good rubber for you.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
