Connecting your lessons

Strokes and Technique

Hello PingSkills Team

Today I tried to execute the move-stop-hit tactic you advised me.

I must say that thanks to you,I was able to improve my strokes with it.

Though,I seem to be unable to connect this strategy with my chopping, especially forehand chop.

I seem to be unable to time my forehand chop.
Also, the chop is my longest stroke and I am quite unsure how to connect it with the shuffle step, because every time I do so,the quality of my stroke is really decreased.

Is there anything I am still missing about fast chopping movement?

PS: I would like to thank you so much.
Today, for the first time,I was finally able to interconncect your guides from your videos Improving your reflexes,Anticipation,Footwork Basic,Leg Position,Breaking bad footwork habits,Dropshot videos,topspin-to-topspin,Correcting erros,The push in detail, long pimple chopblock and some individual responses.
I was finally looking like a true table tennis player.
In addition to my now fully recovered eyes,I was able to take my game on completely new level.
Thanks to you.
Thank you so much.

Hi DK,

Perhaps when you are moving to the Forehand chop you need to turn as well.  This will give you more time to hit the ball after the move and stop.

Great to hear that you have made such big improvements as well.

I did not forget it.
I just seem unable to position myself to the ball correctly.
Sometimes too close,sometimes too far....

I am just really disappointed that my forehand loop has become better than  my forehand chop :((

Those improvements were thanks to you :)
