Training
Hi Jeff and hi Alois, I am big fan of both of you and I would like to discover some drills that I can do at home with a few table tennis paddles and a few balls and maybe a dining table or other furniture that I could find at home.
Hi Kush,
Take a look at this tutorial we have on Practicing Alone. This will give you some ideas to work on. Also take a look at the Learning to Spin tutorial. This is something that you can do by yourself at home.
In lesson 4 we work on the important forehand and backhand counterhit strokes. These are the basis for much more powerful strokes you will develop in the future. We start slowly and then work our way up to a 30 second challenge to see how many strokes you can hit in this time.

Thanks so, so much Alois.I will try and do that every day. Now my dad I’ll be taking me to a local table to train. My dad used to be in his school team and got to train with the national champion of India. Observing that you have an Australian accent, I also live in Australia.

I have a very eager dad, but I don’t have a table just yet.
An eager dad can make up for a lot. Yes we are based in Melbourne.
