Hi Manuel,

There are severaly footwork drills that you can do  to start.

My favourite to get the movement correct is to do two Forehand (FH) balls, one from the Forehand (FH) corner and one from the Backhand (BH) corner.

The second is a BH fom the BH corner a FH form the BH corner and then a FH from the FH corner.

The important things to think about when doing footwork are the movement of your legs and your balance.

The leg movement is a shuffle or jump moving sideways all the time (crab walk).  Have you legs quite wide.  As you advance you can think about a rod between your knees so that they can't come together.  This will help you to jump. sideways quickly.

Pingskills will be making a footwork video shortly and also one on footwork drills.
