How do you backhand smash?

Hi Jem,

This is a difficult stroke.  Often when the ball is up high enough to Backhand Smash you also have time to move around and use your forehand.  It is much easier to smash with the forehand.

To make a backhand smash, start with your bat up high almost like you are wrapping it around your neck. Then come through flat and fast and forward to contact the ball.  Make sure the conatct is flat and the follow through forward rather than down.

Sounds like it may be something we need to add to the list of lessons to make.

Hi Alois, Can we have a video of backhand smash (and not backhand block or topspin) for free members ?
