Because I do not have access to a local coach I was advised to make a video of myself playing a match. This would make me more aware of how my strokes may be going wrong. How should the camera be set up to get the best views? Any other video tips?
Thanks,
Jerry
Hi Jerry,
For each stroke the best view would be different. It also depends on what part of the stroke you are looking at.
It is usually best to have a front on view of the stroke. So this will change for the backhand and forehand strokes. The forehand is best taken from the right hand side and the backhand from the players left.
Try to get as close a view as you can so that it is easy to see what you are doing.
