How do you return a topspin, sidespin, or underpsin serve with long pips.

Hi Noah,

If they serve backspin then you need to push forward with a flatter bat as the ball will come out of your long pips with topspin.

If they serve sidespin, you will need to again push forward but just check if there is a little backspin or topspin on there as well.

If they serve topspin you can cop or push it back or basically block the ball as well and that will send it back with backspin.

The long pips isn't effected as much by spin and the ball comes off them a little slower than inverted rubbers so the pushing forward needs to happen.
