Can you send me an effective strategy for using a long pips backhand side and invert forehand side combo bat
Hi,
I think the main tactical idea is to set up your forehand by using the long pips on the backhand to keep the ball low and vary the spin.
You can utilise a chop block as we show you in the video on Long Pimple Chop Block or use the Long Pimple Attack Against Backspin.
A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. So keep the ball short on your serve and try and catch them unprepared. Watch the video to find out more great tactics to use against a defensive chopper.
