General
Since I just loop and smash with my forehand, i was looking for a rubber that can loop well. I am currently using Tenergy 05 on backhand and Solcion on forehand. A lot of people say that Solcion is good for looping but i just cant seem to get it right. Not enough spin and power. I was thinking of Catapult and Tackifire Special Soft. Can you tell me which one is better for looping?
Hi Shaheer,
I will put this as a forum for readers who have used these rubbers to comment.

Shaheer,
The main thing to focus on with looping is getting your technique correct. Once you have mastered the technique, you will be able to loop well with any rubber. Although it is important to get a rubber that suits you, we find that too many people worry about their equipment and they really need to focus on their skills. Choose a good reputable Table Tennis rubber and then concentrate on your Table Tennis, this is the best way to improve.
Now that I've got that off my chest, if anyone out there has used some of these rubbers that Shaheer has mentioned then please give your thoughts.

Like what Jeff said, even if you have those nice rubbers, if you don't have the skills, it's pointless. So just stick with you current rubbers. I tried Solcion from a friend and IT WAS AWESOME. I can loop well specially underspin. It's like a Mark V version of Butterfly only stronger but it's softer though.

Since this is question which mentioned about Tackifire Special Soft, I am the current user of this rubber. It is good for looping if your skill can be about precise to put more brushing (friction) action on the ball, and less on the knocking. But somehow I do not know if it is due to my blade or due to my skill, I could not put sufficient speed to it. So normally I could loop but not with speed if used on my forehand. My opponent could easily counterloop back to me. By the way, I am using Butterfly ACB1000 (Off-) blade with this rubber.
Then quite a surprise when I use this rubber on my backhand using Chinese Pen Hold style, it could produce a fast return and low trajectory. Perhaps it is due to the normal charasteristic of lower arm fast swing action associated with backhand.
So the advice is either you can put it on the backhand, or maybe you have better skill and forehand arm swing speed to get some speed into this rubber, it may be a good choice. But take note it is rated 36 in density in Butterfly series, while Solcion is 28 (which is the softest in Butterfly). Softer rubber is much better for looping theoretically.

Shaheer....my son!!!!...to be honest....if you are looking for something good for Loop with tremendous speed then forget about Solic...whatever Con is it or even MARK V(Traditional rubber)......go for the best in the League which is BOOST TC....its has got excellent soft sponge which a pro die to have for loops and be a speed king as well.....NO COMPARISON MATE!!!!!

Stiga Boost Tension Clic (TC) is best to be paired with which types of blade?

from different answers presented, Stiga Boost TC, then Joola..which are good at looping..... it is quite natural that table tennis is a very personalized sports as each of us have different sensors in our hands. appreciate to provide your personal input in this way:
BLADE ? Rubber : Stiga Boost TC (FH / BH ?)
BLADE ? Rubber ?

Hey I have Killer Spin 800, I have been playing with this racket for atleast 6 months now but I think I still cannot loop with it, I can chop very good with this but the ONLY problem I am facing with is I can not lessen the impact of shot and I cannot loop with this. this racket is so Fast for this. The ball just touches the racket and flies away. Some people told me to change the blade and put the soft Rubber like Tenergy 05 so it can absorb the speed and return the ball with high control where some others say change the entire blade first and then put Tenergy 05 on it. Please help me solving this mystery and guide me what should I do?
Thanks

I think a slower blade or rubber is the best option.
