Strokes

Hello,

I have read some of your recommendations regarding practicing. I am thinking that you might have some advice for people loving table tennis but without time for specific training in the club...

I am playing one or two times per week and I am using the opportunity to play with my friends. Can I do something specific during matches to improve my strokes?

Thank you, Radu.

Hi Radu,

You can focus on your strokes during each match.  You may decide on a specific stroke or tactic that you want to work on, for example you may want to practice your backhand topspin.  Each time the ball comes to your backhand side you should attempt this stroke.  This will help to improve the stroke if your focus isn't too much on the result.

Perhaps you could try to get to the stadium a little earlier and just spend 10 minutes on your strokes as well.
