According to Wikipedia table tennis was invented by British upper-class people i want to know if this is true.

Hi Ram,

Yes it is true.  It started in England in the late 1800s. It is said that it started as a game played by cricketers during their breaks.

It also became a Parlour Game and had many names before it became Table Tennis.
