Receiving
Hi Alois and Jeff,
How to read spins? I mean the amount of that spins itself and how I trick my opponent with that?
Thanks a lot!
Regards, Archel
Hi Archel,
This is purely a matter of trying to receive a lot of serves. YOu will start to get a feel by the speed of contact that they make as well as the sound of contact. A finer contact will mean more spin a flatter contact will mean less spin.
In our course on Receiving Secrets we go through this aspect of receiving serves.
After the ball has left the server's bat, they can no longer affect the spin that is on the ball. Any movements after the contact are referred to as fake movements and are meant to confuse you as the receiver. You need to focus on the contact to read the spin.
