Returning low and heavy topspin serve

Hi, coach. Recently I play with my friend. He is good at serving. Then, he serve a low and heavy topspin serve. His serve is bounce to my table 2-3 times. Should I flick the ball or lift the ball?

On this serve it is probably best to flick the return if there is topspin on the ball.
