im a intermediate player but i know how to make a good shot but i cant pick there serve because its spinning too much and the ball goes in a different direction when i hit it so what should i do please can u answer this question as quickly as possible cause i have to play a tournament please can u answer the question
Hi Zohaib,
You need to use your bat like a rudder to steer the ball back onto the table. If the ball is spinning off to the right then angle your bat to the left. Do not try to do too much with the return just use the angle of your bat to get it back.
You also need to recognise the spin on the ball. If they move their bat from your left to right then the ball will want ot go to your right when you hit it. Therefore you need to use the bat and angle it to the left to counteract that spin.
