Equipment
Hi Alois and Jeff,
I'm getting a new set of TT equipment by October and it is:
Blade - STIGA Optimum 7(5mm plywood)
Black - STIGA Calibra LT Sound (soft sponge) FH
Red - STIGA Calibra LT Plus (hard sponge) BH
is it okay for me to have this kind of combination, especially for the rubbers? I heard it would be cool to have a hard sponge at your BH side because it produces good lobbing material. But I haven't heard of the benefits of having a soft sponge. These rubbers are also long trajectory.
Please tell me how good it is.
Hi Cloud,
I haven't used these rubbers or blade. Others that may have used them may be able to help you.

Well, is a rubber with soft sponge good?

soft sponge produces a trampoline affect making the ball travel a lot faster than a thin sponge which hits the blade almost strait away, just beware soft sponges are hard and you need to be a very controlled player to be able to hit the table whereas hard sponge has a lot more controll
