Hi coach, I want to ask about serving, is it necessary to crouch in tomahawk serves and stomp your feet in pendulum serves? By the way, good video there in Guam

Hi Ivandri,

It is better if you are more crouched for the Tomahawk serve because it allows a better movement of the forearm in an up and over motion.  The hitting point then isn't too high above the table surface.

It certainly isn't necessary to stamp your foot on the pendulum serve.  That is just a habit of a lot of players.

Thanks for the feedback on the Guam video!
