Dear Coach,

Could you please help me by telling me how could I get more spin while hitting a topspin, at the same time of getting a bit of speed. And how do I hit a really fast topspin with a lot of speed?

(This is my first question at Pingskills and trust me i have a lot of them)

Thank you.

Hi Raj,

Welcome to the Ask the Coach section of PingSkills.

To generate more spin and speed you need to have a faster racket movement.  To do this utilise your whole body as we show you in the Advanced Forehand Topspin.  The next important thing is to get a fast brushing contact on the ball to generate the spin.  You can do this by brushing the top of the ball fast orally the ball to sink into your rubber and brush the back of the ball.
