Is the reason why world-class players like Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, and Zhang Jike flick spinny backhand topspin because the ball is too low for them to flick with a flat contact?
Hi Romeo,
The backhand sidespin flick is easier against a backspin ball. It is difficult to flat flick the backspin because the backspin will drag the ball into the net.
If you are faced with your opponent serving long and fast and there is a lot of backspin on the serve, how should you deal with it? We explain what you should do.
