Hello, Im buying a new table tennis rubber. For now I've chosen a "Yasaka Mark V. 1,8" for backhand and "Xiom Vega PRO 2.0" for forehand. I wanna ask you if that's good choice and if "Yasaka Mark V" is good for chopping and both offensive and defensive play. Thanks a lot

Hi David,

Mark V is quite versatile.  Your voice sound to be OK.

"Your voice sound to be OK."?  LOL

David, I think Alois meant "Your choice sounds like it would be OK."  As Alois says, the Mark V is a very versatile rubber.  It isn't the best at anything but is solid at almost everything (especially in the right hands). That said, I think chopping is the one stroke it is less strong on.  If you BH game will be primarily chopping, I'd look at other rubbers.  The Vega Pro on your FH will do everything you ask of it, provided you have the skill/experience to control it.

Cheers
