Can you please tell me how to perform a topspin serve? i can perform a good topspin in a rally but my serve isn't very effective. Please help!

Hi Ibraiz,
To generate a lot of spin of any type on your serve, you need to have a fast contact and a brushing contact. This takes a lot of practice. It means that you need to swing at the ball quickly but only brush the ball it doesn't come off your bat too fast.
To generate topspin you need to brush on the top of the ball. You can do this a number of different ways using a number of different serves. The most common serve today is the pendulum serve and you can generate topspin using this serve by brushing up on the ball as you swing through using a pendulum motion.
