Hi there!

I have played in a club before and is now plyaing a lot at work. I'm thinking of putting together my won racket and need some advice. Mostly i like to play defensive and wait for my opponents to make a misstake. The setup I'm thinking right now is a Yasaka Sweden Classic, Mark V rubber on FH to still be able to attack with okay speed and either Butterfly Tackiness Drive or Tackiness chop on BH to defend. Does this sound like an okay setup or do you have any other tips?

Thanks in advance,

Pontus

Hi Pontus,

I think that is a reasonable set up for you.  I would probably go for the Tackiness Chop on the backhand if you are thinking about being more defensive.

Okay thank you for the feedback! What thickness on the sponges do you recommend for the two rubbers?

Hi Pontus,

I would go with 2mm on the forehand and 1.5mm on the backhand.
