Hi,

I am a defensive player (Beginner) and i am using Mark V for forehand and super anti for backhand. I wanted to confirm whether this is the right combination i am using. Further, i would like to know the kind of service which i should practice the most as a defensive player.

You response will be highly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance!!!

Hi Sajad,

I like the Mark V for the forehand.  The anti on the backhand is good for a defensive chop.  It depends on what you want to develop on your backhand.  If you want to develop more attacking strokes then you should perhaps use a more attacking rubber.

If you are going to be mainly defensive on the backhand you could also think about using Long Pimples.

Hello Sir,

Now a days i am using Mark V for the forehand and Phantom 008 for back hand. I came across with one more rubber of Tibhar for backhand i.e. Grass DTech 1.2.

I request you to suggest me on that for the backhand.

Thanks & regards,

Hello Master,

First of all thanks for answering my queries. Also, i would like to update that this website has really helped me to improve my game and recently i qualified for finals in one of the tournaments here.

As, i want to improve my game to further level i would appreciate if you can guide me in selecting the rubber for my forehand. I am using MarkV at the moment. I am total defensive player and want to have a kind of rubber on my forehand which can help me to generate more spin and control as well as speed.

I will be great full for your support.

Thanks & Warm regards,

Sajad Ali

Hi Sajad,

If you want more spin perhaps Pryde is OK.  Others may have an idea for you as well.
