Using short pimples on the backhand

i finding difficulty in receiving service as well as blocking opponents topspin as i play with short pimple in my backhand, due to which i m not consistence when it come to backhand?

Hi Niresh,

The short pimples will not be as effected as inverted rubber by the spin.  You can play through the ball a little more. Perhaps you are allowing for the spin to much.

Blocking can be a little more difficult.  The ball will travel more directly.  You need to get the ball at the top of the bounce and hit it firmly with the pimples. 

Because the pimple doesn't generate as much topspin, it makes your margin for error a little less.  That is why you may get more errors.  It will take training.
