merry christmas to pingskills!!

hye mr.alois

i'ma beginer to table tennis and just like it very much . i have a (8x4)feet  plywood board at home to play,.and i dont have a partner to play so i'm used to keep practising serves and hitting the wall.  I really like ma longs serve should i practise it or is it to complex if so can you advice a good serve to practise

Hi Sachintha,

It is great you have made your own table to play.  This will still give you good practice.

Keep watching and practicing Ma Longs serve.  Think firstly about the contact of the bat on the ball.  This is important for generating spin.  If you are not generating spin, take the ball away from the table and see if you can get the ball to spin on the floor.  Try to get the ball to curve as much as possible.  Then you can come back to the table and try again.
