Me and my friend play together a lot. We both are pretty low rated players, and we are trying to improve at the whole aspect of table tennis.  It doesn't seem like our training is doing much to help us.  What should we do to get results and improve our game?

Hi Daniel,

Focus on skills during your training.  Your best idea would be to get yourself a copy of Training Secrets Revealed.  This will answer all of your questions.  It will show you exactly how to structure your training sessions and what you should include.  It will also give you help on what drills to practice and ways to improve a particular skill.

Always think about improving skills first.  Game play is an important part of training but it shouldn't be the major part of the session.  You should firstly concentrate on things like improving your strokes, footwork, serves and then combinations that will help you in a game situation.

Good luck.
