Hi,
Will my tennis affect my Table tennis skills? And is it possible fore me to move on like after a trading session with tennis then the next day ping pong, is it possible for someone to forget the tennis technique when he or she plays table tennis competitively?
Thank you, keep up the good work
Hi Tri,
I think the brain is good enough to adapt to the two sports.
Especially if you spend a bit of time with both of them you will be able to switch easily.
The seventh building block of table tennis is sports psychology, an essential aspect of mastering the game. The first step is recognising your emotions during important matches. Understanding how pressure and nerves affect your performance allows you to develop strategies to stay focused and in control.
By strengthening your mental game, you can handle high-stakes situations with confidence and perform at your best, no matter the challenge.

Some players actually play tennis with they weaker side in order to compensate the one-side strain.

If you are a penholder, most likely, no effect. I have seen some players who play tennis, come back to play table tennis and noticed their swing got bigger...lol But like the coach said, if you switch back and forth on a regular basis, then switching is no problem!
