Hi, Alois. Hi, Jeff.
How are you?
My question is a bit unusual this time: I realize table tennis must occupy a large portion of your time, efforts, and energy, but what other personal interests, or maybe hobbies do you have? Where can a person learn more about you? I'm sure many PingSkillers will be very interested to know this as well. Thank you.
Regards,
Dean from Bulgaria
Hi Dean,
Thanks for the question. It my be something we will have to cover on a show one day.
Personally I have a family so their interests occupy my time outside Table Tennis. As a result of my son playing Football (Soccer) I have developed a bit of interest in that.
The second building block of table tennis is linking your strokes with set patterns. This step focuses on transitioning smoothly between strokes, as playing from a single position is very different from reacting after a previous shot.

I've picked up that Jeff seems to be fairly into rubix speed cubing.
Oddly before I got really into table tennis, I was practicing to be a magician. I figured it would be fun for social gatherings and when my daughter is a little bit older I can dazzle her mind.
My hobby before that was lifting weights and fitness so I'm glad to be doing something now that is active and maybe I can work a little magic into my strokes. Pull a rabbit out of my ping pong bat.

Hi, Alois. Hi, Jeff.
Show #300 is coming just around the corner, maybe you'd be willing to make it a special one by sharing with all Pingskillers what things you are passionate about outside the world of table tennis.
Thanks.
